Dear Visitation Parish Family,
I want to invite all who are interested in praying through their gift of music at our masses to join one of our musical ensembles and become part of our Music Ministry. If you feel the call to offer your gift to the service of our Sacred Liturgies, please contact me to set up a personal interview. Dates and starting times for each choir are listed below and on our Parish Website on the Music Ministry tab. A yearlong schedule will be available at the first rehearsal and will also be posted on the Parish web site.
Adult Choir
Sings every Sunday September to June at the 10:00 AM Mass and on Feast Days. Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00 PM in the Church. First rehearsal is Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
High School Chorale
Sings 3 weekend masses per month and Feast Days. Rehearsals are Mondays from 8:00-9:00 PM in the Church. First rehearsal is Monday, August 23, 2010.
Middle School Ensemble
For students in grades 6-8. Sings 2 weekend masses per month and Feast Days. Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45 PM in the Church. First rehearsal is Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
Children’s Choir
For students in grades 3-5. Sings 2 weekend masses per month and Feast Days. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 3:30-4:20 PM in the Church. First rehearsal is Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
Parish Brass
Plays on Christmas and Easter and on special occasions. Rehearsals times TBA. Contact Director Ed Bartholomew at 630-954-4723.
