In an effort to utilize our new parish center by offering more opportunities to socialize and build community, and to respond to the need to alleviate some of the congestion that can occur in the parking lots between Masses, we have decided to alter our Sunday Mass schedule. Beginning on July 2–3 our weekend Mass schedule will be:

  • Saturday
    • 5:00 PM
  • Sunday
    • 7:00 AM
    • 8:15 AM
    • 10:00 AM
    • 12:00 PM
    • 5:00 PM

Once these changes are in place, Baptisms will begin on Sundays at 1:30 P.M. instead of 1:00 P.M. The sacrament of reconciliation will remain at the usual time on Saturdays at 4:00 P.M. and will conclude before Mass begins at 5:00 P.M.

Beginning May 2, two changes will be made to our daily Mass schedule. The tradition of a daily Mass grew out of the custom for a priest to celebrate Mass daily for the good of the parish. On Mondays and Thursdays only one priest is available for a morning Mass, so only one Mass will be celebrated at 6:15 A.M. In place of the 8:15 A.M. Mass, we will have a communion service only. Mass intentions currently scheduled for the 8:15 A.M. Mass will be included at the 6:15 A.M. Mass for that day. Our weekday schedule will be:

  • Monday and Thursday
    • 6:15 AM
    • 8:15 AM (Communion Service only)
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
    • 6:15 and 8:15 AM
  • Saturday
    • 8:15 AM

I am grateful for your understanding and cooperation in helping us adjust to these changes. Changes are never easy, but we hope that these changes will solve some current difficulties.

Rev. Scott C. Huggins
